Farmers’ interest in organic farming is increasing rapidly in Madhya Pradesh. The largest area under organic farming in the country which is 15 lakh, 92 thousand hectares, is also in Madhya Pradesh. According to a report from the Union Agriculture Ministry, more than three thousand clusters have also been formed in Madhya Pradesh under the Central Government’s Traditional Agriculture Development Scheme.
