In Tamil Nadu, Union Minister of State for Social Justice and empowerment Ramdas Athwale has criticised the State Government for not providing adequate security to leaders hailing from reserved communities. Addressing the media after visiting the family of slain leader of BSP, Armstrong today, he demanded strong action in the death of Armstrong and also on maintaining law and order in total. As a leader of the Republican Party of India, he said that there should be no discrimination on the basis of caste or creed and wanted a white paper report on the murder of the BSP leader.
