Hundreds of people from different walks of life bid adieu to renowned writer and Jnanpith awardee M.T. Vasudevan Nair in Kozhikode, Kerala on Thursday evening. His mortal remains were consigned to flames at the Mavoor Road crematorium, where a large number of people had gathered to pay their last respects. Prominent intellectuals, literary figures, noted film personalities, and political leaders were among those who bid farewell to M.T., whose works left an indelible mark on contemporary Malayalam literature and cinema.
