More than 49 Lakh civil servants are on board in 1500 different courses on iGOT Karmyogi platform

The Centre today informed that more than 49 Lakh civil servants are on board in 1500 different courses on the iGOT Karmyogi platform. In a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Dr Jitendra Singh said that the iGOT Karmyogi platform has witnessed more than 2.7 crore enrolments and 1.9 crore course completions. He also informed that the government has approved a total outlay of around 511 crore rupees. Dr Singh said the mission Karmyogi scheme is striving towards enhance the skills and competencies of civil servants in India.

 

He further said the objective of the Mission is to enhance the attitude and knowledge of the Government employees. The Minister said it has a target to build capacity on domain, functional as well as behavioural competencies.  The Union Minister said the courses available on the iGOT platform are mapped to competencies like leadership, decision-making, communication, service delivery and citizen-centricity.
