The monsoon session of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly is starting from today. Many issues will be discussed in this five-day session. The House will meet on Saturday as well.
This could possibly be the last session of the current assembly before the assembly elections to be held later this year. The government will count its achievements and the opposition is preparing to oppose various steps taken by the Government.
In this session, the total 1642 questions including 841 starred and 801 unstarred questions are submitted by MLAs. In addition, 17 non-official resolutions, 22 adjournment motions and 185 attention motions have been received by the assembly.
MLAs have asked 817 questions online and 825 questions offline.
