All the 23 dead bodies in the tragic collapse of the under construction Railway bridge near Sairang in Aizawl, Mizoram have been recovered, with one more dead body recovered today by the rescue team.
A total of 23 workers have lost their lives in the unfortunate incident on August 23 with three injured.
A team of the Border Security Force (BSF), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Administration and Mizoram Police took up the rescue operations.
All the injured persons were given medical treatment at Aizawl Civil Hospital of which two injured persons have been discharged.
All the dead bodies have been handed over to Railways Authority after completion of all formalities.
