Major Asian indices saw mixed trading today. South Korea’s Kospi dropped over two and a half per cent, Japan’s Nikkei was 1.69 per cent down and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng fell 0.24 per cent. Meanwhile, China’s Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.5 percent and Singapore’s Straits Times index added 0.24 percent.
Major European Indices were also trading in mixed territory. Germany’s DAX was marginally up and France’s CAC declined 0.04 per cent while London’s FTSE was trading flat when reports last came in.
