Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Raksha Nikhil Khadse, today said that the achievements of para-athletes at the Paris Paralympics 2024 have inspired the youth of the nation. Addressing a felicitation ceremony for the Paralympics medal winners in New Delhi, the Minister said that the para-athletes have made the nation proud on the global stage. She also lauded the exemplary teamwork and harmony of the contingent.
In an exclusive interview with Akashwani News, Paralympics double gold medalist Sumit Antil said that it took years of hard work and dedication to achieve success on the biggest stage.
Talking to Akashwani News, Paralympics gold medalist in the Men’s Club Throw F51 event, Dharambir, said that winning a gold medal for India has been a dream come true for him.
Speaking to Akashwani News, Badminton Women’s Singles SH6 bronze medalist Nithya Sre Sivan thanked the people of the country for their support throughout the games.
