India Metrological Department, IMD has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall over Uttarakhand, north Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sub-Himalaya West Bengal, and  Sikkim during the next 4 to 5 days. It has also forecast an increase in rainfall activity over Northeast India during the next five days. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Manipur.
