Indian Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rainfall in parts of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat region. Met department has predicted enhanced rainfall activity is expected over parts of Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, and Marathwada during the next couple of days. Heavy to very heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms at isolated places is very likely over these regions during this period.

West Madhya Pradesh is also on red alert as isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected till tomorrow.
