The India Meteorological Department has forecast extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places over Tripura, Mizoram, and West Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. The weather agency predicted very heavy rainfall over Madhya Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, and Mizoram during the next three days.
The Met department has estimated fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall over Kerala, Mahe, Coastal South Interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Uttarakhand, and East Rajasthan during the week. Meanwhile, Delhi and its adjoining areas witnessed moderate to heavy rainfall today.
The rainfall has brought down the day temperature below normal. The maximum temperature was recorded at 31.2 degrees Celsius, which is 3 degrees Celsius below normal. while the minimum temperature settled at 26.5 degrees Celsius. The Met Department has predicted a cloudy sky and light rainfall in the national capital tomorrow. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 34 and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively.
