Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign was successfully run in all the villages of Madhya Pradesh from 9th to 15th August 2023.
In this regard, Meeta Rajeev Lochan, Secretary, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports held a state level review meeting in Bhopal today. Speaking on the occasion, She said that the program has been successful due to public participation across the country and especially participation of the youth. She told that it was organized in 3 lakh 65 thousand villages and cities of the country. Along with this, about 4 crore people took the oath of Panch Pran.
In Madhya Pradesh, under the Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign, programs were organized in more than 28 thousand panchayats in which more than 25 thousand Amrit Vatikas were constructed and more than 17 lakh saplings were planted.
Representatives of all departments including Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rural Development Department, National Service Scheme, All India Radio and Doordarshan participated in the meeting.
