Domestic markets were closed today on account of a public holiday. The markets will resume trading on Friday, August 16. Meanwhile, the markets ended marginally higher in the volatile session yesterday. The Sensex gained 149 points or 0.19 per cent to close at 79,105 yesterday. And the Nifty ended up 5 points to 24,143.
