Benchmark domestic equity indices today ended around 1.3 per cent lower, extending their losing streak for the second straight session. The 30-share index at Bombay Stock Exchange, Sensex, tanked 1,064 points to close at 80,684. Similarly, the National Stock Exchange Nifty-50 shed 332 points to end at 24,336. 

The broader market indices at BSE also logged losses. The Mid-Cap index fell over 0.6 percent and the Small-Cap index lost over half percent.
