In Manipur, agricultural activities have started in the vulnerable fringe areas situated in some districts with security coverage provided by Manipur Police and Central Forces.

A report from Manipur Police Control Room said that two illegal bunkers were destroyed during a search operation conducted by State Police and Central Forces during the last twenty-six hours.

The report said that the firing of a few rounds by armed miscreants were reported in some areas and security forces launched operations in the areas and miscreants were repelled.

Movement of essential items is being ensured along NH 37 and NH 2 with strict security measures and loaded trucks have also reached Imphal.
