In Manipur, the State Police recovered a number of arms and ammunition during a search operation conducted today in the Imphal West district. According to Police sources, a search operation was conducted in and around the adjoining areas of Apun Lok Cannel of Phayeng and Kadangband towards Twuikun village this afternoon.
 
During the search, three pistols, two pistol magazines, one Sub Machine gun, six hand grenades, ten tube launching, and 12 Ballistic rounds were recovered from the western side of the canal. The police have registered an FIR and an investigation is underway.
