Manipur Chief Minister condemned the killing of two innocent students by suspected armed insurgents and said that the perpetrators will be given appropriate punishment as per law. Speaking to media persons this evening in Imphal, Chief Minister N Biren Singh said that after the discussion with the Union Home Minister, a team of CBI arrived Imphal this afternoon and visited the spot for investigations. 

Meanwhile, the public conducted protests against the killing of innocent students today. Meanwhile, indefinite public curfew has been imposed in Imphal East, Imphal West and Thoubal districts of the State.
