In Manipur, the Chief Minister's College Students' Rehabilitation Scheme 2023 was launched on 7th July 2023, Friday to provide the required educational facilities to the undergraduate students displaced and affected due to the prevailing situation in the State.
 
The new scheme has been initiated to enable the students of Government and Government aided colleges to continue their education uninterrupted. The State Education Minister Th. Basanta Kumar launched the scheme at Imphal.
 
The minister said that under this one-time scheme, students from the present college get transferred to a new college as per the request made by them. The students will also get free admission for the academic session 2023-24.
