The ruling BJP MLAs of Manipur met Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh in New Delhi today and apprised him of the ground situation of the violent-hit State.  
 
The MLAs requested Mr. Singh to complete the border fencing along Indo-Myanmar in the Manipur area and take up stronger measures to stop infiltration from the neighboring country. They put forward the demand for the implementation of the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Manipur. They also urged Raksha Mantri to initiate measures to stop poppy plantations in the State.
