In Manipur, heavy rainfall was witnessed today and at least five farmers have been badly injured in the lightning strikes.
 
Five farmers who were working in the paddy field were injured due to lightning strikes that took place in Keimang Loukon of Bishnupur district this afternoon. Among them, one farmer is said to be in critical condition and is hospitalised in Imphal.
