A major fire broke out in Heera Panna Mall in Jogeshwari in Mumbai on Friday. Three fire-fighters suffered suffocation in the incident, while rescuing the people who were stranded in the mall. According to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, 14 stranded persons were rescued by the fire personnel.
 
The fire was reported around 3 pm and later the blaze was declared level 3. The Mumbai Fire Brigade pressed 12 fire engines, 10 jumbo tankers, 1 water tanker and four ambulances into service. The cause of the fire is yet to be known.
