Three out of five major Asian indices ended lower. South Korea’s Kospi declined 1.3 percent, Singapore’s Straits Times Index slipped 1.1 percent and Japan’s Nikkei witnessed a marginal fall of 0.1 percent. Meanwhile, China’s Shanghai Composite Index increased more than one per cent and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index rose more than half per cent.
Major European Indices were trading mixed. Germany’s DAX was trading 0.29 per cent down and France’s CAC 40 declined 0.18 per cent. Meanwhile, London’s FTSE increased 0.2 per cent, when reports last came in
