Major Asian indices displayed mixed trends today. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index shed 0.41 per cent, Singapore’s Straits Times index fell over 0.3 per cent, and China’s Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.11 per cent. Meanwhile, South Korea’s Kospi rose over 1.3 per cent and Japan’s Nikkei gained over 1.2 per cent. Major European Indices were trading mixed. Germany’s DAX was trading over 0.2 per cent up, London’s FTSE gained over 0.1 per cent, while France’s CAC 40 was trading nearly flat when reports last came in.
