Major Asian indices displayed mixed trends today. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng slumped 3.8 per cent, the Shanghai Composite declined more than two and a half per cent, and Singapore’s Straits Times Index ended nearly flat. Meanwhile, Japan’s Nikkei gained 0.7 per cent and South Korea’s Kospi added 0.3 per cent.
Major European Indices were trading mixed. France’s CAC 40 fell 0.8 per cent, London’s FTSE was trading more than half per cent down while Germany’s DAX was trading 0.2 per cent up when reports last came in.
