Major Asian indices slumped today. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index plunged nearly three per cent, South Korea’s Kospi dropped nearly two per cent, China’s Shanghai Composite Index declined 1.4 per cent, Singapore’s Straits Times index fell over half per cent, and Japan’s Nikkei was 0.4 per cent down.
Major European Indices were trading in negative territory. France’s CAC 40 declined over one per cent, London’s FTSE was trading nearly one per cent down, and Germany’s DAX shed over 0.8 per cent when reports last came in.
