Four out of five major Asian markets indices ended with gains today. South Korea’s Kospi advanced 1.8 percent, China’s Shanghai Composite gained more than one percent, Singapore’s Strait Times Index increased by nearly half percent and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng added 0.3 percent. Meanwhile, the market in Japan was closed for a holiday.
Meanwhile, major European Indices were trading mixed. London’s FTSE was trading over 0.7 percent up, France’s CAC 40 gained 0.2 percent, while Germany’s DAX was trading nearly flat when reports last came in.
