Maharashtra records average voting turnout of 58.22% till 5 pm

Maharashtra has recorded an average voting turnout of 58.22 percent till 5 pm. While Gadchiroli is leading with 69.63 percent, Thane and Mumbai City are lagging with a turnout of 49.76 and 49.07 percent, respectively.

 

Among other districts, Yavatmal, Wardha, Satara, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Sangli, Raigad, Parbhani, Nandurbar, Latur, Kolhapur, Jalna, Hingoli, Gondia, Chandrapur, Buldhana, Beed, Bhandara, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad), and Ahilya Nagar (Ahmednagar) have recorded over 60 percent voter turnout till 5 pm.

 

Meanwhile, 53.78 percent of voters have exercised their franchise in the Nanded Lok Sabha by-poll till 5 pm.
