Maharashtra has over 9.5 crore registered voters eligible for the upcoming assembly elections, according to the final voters list published yesterday by the office of the Chief Election Officer. The total number of registered voters is 9 crore 53 lakh 74 thousand 302. This marks an increase of 16 lakh 98 thousand 368 voters compared to the draft list released on August 6. The final voters list shows there are 6 lakh 28 thousand 63 Divyang voters. Currently, Maharashtra has 4 crore 93 lakh 33 thousand 996 male voters, 4 crore 60 lakh 34 thousand 362 female voters, and 5 thousand 944 transgender voters.
