NCP leader Sharad Pawar on 8th July 2023, Saturday, dismissed the allegations made by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. He said that he is neither tired nor retired. Sharad Pawar also said that although there were discussions about forming an alliance with the BJP, the decision to go with the BJP was never taken.
While addressing a press conference in Nashik, he said that he was not able to understand the intention of the MLAs and some leaders of his own party. He admitted his fault saying that he could not recognize the division in the party. While criticizing the BJP, Pawar alleged that the BJP is mainly playing a role in weakening the regional parties.
He arrived in Nashik on 8th July 2023, Saturday after the split in NCP. He was warmly welcomed by his party members and leaders. He is beginning his tour of Maharashtra on 8th July 2023. The first rally is held at Yeola in Nasik district.
