Maharashtra Government has announced a cash reward of one crore rupees for Swapnil Kusale, who won the Bronze Medal in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions event at the Paris Olympics 2024. Holding a video call with the medallist after his win earlier today, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde congratulated Kusale for his glorious achievement and promised to extend all support that would be necessary for his training for upcoming events. 

Stating that Kusale’s achievement has brought smiles to the faces of 13 crore citizens of Maharashtra, the Chief Minister added that a felicitation function would be arranged for Kusale, his family, and coaches as soon as he returns to the country.
