Maharashtra Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar paid homage to Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Divas at Chaitya Bhoomi in Dadar with floral tributes. Speaking on the occasion, Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan said that Dr. Ambedkar gave the country its best constitution and made invaluable contributions to the ideals of unity, equality, fraternity, the eradication of untouchability, and a casteless society. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis highlighted that India is reaching new heights of development across various sectors and attributed these achievements to the constitution given to the country by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.
