In Maharashtra, the District Magistrate of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Dilip Swami conducted a comprehensive review of the security arrangements in Khuldabad to ensure law, order, and peace remain uninterrupted in the district. He urged citizens to refrain from believing in rumours and to cooperate with the administration to maintain harmony.
The District Magistrate directed all officials to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities to the police. He stressed the importance of coordination among various departments and urged citizens to rely only on verified information. Instructions have been issued to immediately alert law enforcement if any objectionable messages are detected on social media.
During the review meeting at the Khultabad Tehsil Office, Superintendent of Police Vinaykumar Rathod provided an update on the robust security measures in place at Aurangzeb’s Tomb and across the region. The security deployment includes 30 police personnel, senior officers, a contingent of 50 soldiers from the State Reserve Force, and 80 home guards. Authorities are closely monitoring social media activities through cyber cells to prevent the spread of misinformation or inflammatory content. Mr Rathod emphasized that strict action will be taken against individuals sharing controversial or false posts.
