In Maharashtra, the caste certificate of Congress candidate from Ramtek Lok Sabha Constituency, Rashmi Barve has been invalidated by the Caste Verification Committee of Social Justice and Special Assistance Department’s Caste Verification Committee on Thursday (28th March 2024).
The filling of nominations for the second phase of Loksabha elections have been started in the state. The Independent candidate Zafar Ali Khan Mehmood Ali Khan Pathan has filed his nomination paper in Nanded constituency.
