Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has said his government is committed to make Mumbai slum free. Addressing a political rally in Mumbai, he said the Mahayuti government will make the metropolis slum free and ensure that poor get affordable housing in the city.

Mr. Shinde said that 350 crore rupees has been distributed from CM’s relief fund for the benefit of one lakh people. Terming his government as pro poor, he said his government’s aim is to provide ownership of homes to slum dwellers. CM Shinde also slammed the opposition for raising  objection on Ladki Bahin Yojna and cautioned people against the Opposition’s plan to stop this scheme.
