Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde directed Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to explore twin tunnel technology to deal with city traffic congestion. Mr. Shinde reviewed ten vital projects of Mumbai at Mantralaya, including the Mumbai Metro, an economic zone near Samruddhi Expressway.

Mr. Shinde directed the BMC to build grade separators at traffic congestion sites. He also discussed connecting the eastern and the western expressway. Mr Shinde instructed to complete infrastructure, metro and irrigation projects within the timeframe.
