In Maharashtra, at least four people were killed and 25 others were severely injured in a bus accident in the Melghat area of Amravati district this morning. A private bus going from Amravati to Dharni met with an accident when the bus driver lost control of the bus and it fell into the river bed. The passengers were rushed to Achalpur sub-district  Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, relief work is being carried out by the local police with the help of local citizens at the accident spot.
