In Maharashtra, the BJP has filed an FIR against an unknown person for issuing a forged letter regarding the Party’s Candidate from Palghar Loksabha Constituency. A letter announcing the Party’s Palghar district President Prakash Nikam as BJP’s Candidate on the Party’s alleged bogus letterhead became viral on social media yesterday. The Party has clarified that this is a fake letter and lodged an FIR.  Mahayuti’s candidate from Palghar Loksabha Constituency is yet to be declared.
