In a tragic incident, four people died in a fire in Pimpri-Chinchwad of Pune district of Maharashtra this morning. According to officials, four members of the same family were killed in the fire. The blaze broke out in an electric hardware shop located in Pooja Heights building at Purna Nagar in Chikhli area of Pimpri Chinchwad around 5 AM on 30th August 2023. Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Fire Department rushed to the spot immediately.
 
The deceased family hailed from Pali in Rajasthan. It is suspected that the blaze started due to an electric short-circuit inside the shop. Further investigation is underway.
