In Maharashtra, the third phase of the Dharmaveer Swarajya Rakshak Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Mumbai Coastal Road (South) Project will be opened today. The coastal road will allow temporary travel from Haji Ali to Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan Road, and the Haji Ali Arm 8 to the main bridge at Haji Ali on the northbound lane.
This section will be open for traffic from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM on weekdays. It will remain closed on weekends to complete the rest of the project. A temporary route has been provided to reach the coastal bridge.
Interacting with the media on the occasion, Chief Minister Shinde said, the Mumbai Coastal Road Project is playing an important role in solving the traffic problems in Mumbai. He said, ninety-one percent of the entire coastal road project has been completed so far, adding that the administration has been instructed to complete the remaining work at the earliest.
