In Bihar, Islampur bound Magadh Express ( Train no 20802) was split into two parts today when the coupling of the train was broken near Raghunathpur station in Buxar district. Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway Saraswati Chandra said the incident occurred on the down line of Buxar – Danapur rail section between Twiniganj and Raghunathpur stations around 11 am. Nine bogies of the train were separated from the engine in the incident. The CPRO, said no casualty or injury have been reported in the incident. A technical and accident relief team has been rushed to the spot to rectify the problem. The cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile the rail operation has been affected on the down line of Buxar -Danapur rail section.
