Madhya Pradesh is at the forefront in building permanent houses, especially for backward tribal families in the Pradhan Mantri Adivasi Janaman Mahabhiyan in the country. State Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Prahlad Patel inspected the country’s first PM Janaman Colony built-in Shivpuri Janpad Panchayat. He discussed with the beneficiary families of the Sahariya tribe of the new PM Janaman Awas and congratulated them on getting a new house.

Akashvani’s correspondent reports, that Madhya Pradesh has achieved great success by building the country’s first Prime Minister Janaman Colony in Shivpuri. Within 23 days of the launch of the Prime Minister Adivasi Nyay Mahabhiyan by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the first house was built in Shivpuri. The first PM Janaman Awas in the country was given to Bhagchandra Adivasi of Kalothra Panchayat of Shivpuri Block. A total of 1 lakh 13 thousand 433 Janaman Awas were approved in Madhya Pradesh. Out of these, Madhya Pradesh is at first place in the country by building 22 thousand 619 houses. The maximum number of 4 thousand 443 houses have been built in Shivpuri in the state.
