Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has exhorted the youth of the Nation to become active stakeholders in building a strong and self-reliant Bharat. He called upon the youth to engage themselves proactively in nation building, innovation and global leadership and contribute to the country’s growth story.

Mr Birla was at Lovely Professional University (LPU), near Jalandhar, as the Chief Guest on its Annual Cultural Festival and Study Grant Awards. He said, the idea of Vikshit Bharat-2047 provides a vision that encompasses economic growth, social equity, global leadership and sustainability. Mr Birla mentioned that India today is being recognised globally for its vibrant youth population, who are excelling in all domains.

Member of Parliament, Ashok Mitta, was also present on the occasion.
