In Telangana, Hyderabad District Electoral authorities have booked cases under the RP act 1951 section 134 against some of the officials who did not attend the election training. District Electoral Officer Ronald Rose informed that cases were registered against some of them who did not attend the training despite reminders. Among the officials deployed on poll duty and did not turn up for training including Assistant Professor Osmania University, Dr J Krishnaiah, from the Education department, Mirza Nasir Begh besides a few Senior Assistants and junior assistants from various departments have been booked.

The authorities have informed that about 20 thousand officials and staff did not attend poll training. They further informed that stern action will be taken if they do not attend the last round of training to be held on 20th of this month.
