Left party CPI-ML declares its candidates for Lok Sabha elections in Bihar

In Bihar, the left party CPI-ML declared its candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, day after the announcement of seat sharing agreement in the opposition Grand Alliance. Party will contest three Lok Sabha seats of Ara, Nalanda and Karakat.

 

Party State Secretary Kunal said from Ara parliamentary constituency Sudama Prasad and Nalanda constituency Sandeep Sourav will contest elections. Both are also party MLAs. He said Rajaram Singh will contest from Karakat Lok Sabha constituency. For the bye-election in Agiaon assembly constituency party has decided to field Shiv Prakash Ranjan.

 

Earlier the RJD had agreed to give five seats to Left Parties in Bihar under the seat sharing arrangements. Out of five seats of their quota CPI-M and CPI will contest one each.

CPI-M has decided to field Sanjay Kumar Singh from Khagaria while CPI has given ticket to former MLA Awadhesh Rai from Begusarai parliamentary constituency.
