Leading political parties intensify their campaigning in view of ensuing Lok Sabha elections in Delhi

Leading political parties BJP, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party have intensified their campaigning in view of ensuing Lok Sabha elections in New Delhi. All the candidates are holding public meetings, door-to-door campaigns and road shows in their respective areas and making all efforts to woo the voters.

 

Today, BJP candidate from North East Delhi Manoj Tiwari held a public meeting at GTB Enclave of his Lok Sabha constituency. For this seat, Congress has fielded Kanhaiya Kumar. BJP candidate from New Delhi seat Bansuri Swaraj conducted a road show in Paharganj area. AAP Candidate in this seat Somnath Bharti held door-to-door campaign in Kirti Nagar area.

 

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal also conducted a road show in Kalyanpuri area in support of Aam Aadmi Party candidate Kuldeep Kumar from East Delhi. BJP Candidate Harsh Malhotra is in the fray in this seat.

 

Senior Congress leader and candidate for Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha seat, Jaiprakash Aggarwal held a public meeting in Model Town area and assured people that if his party comes to power, all welfare schemes mentioned in the party’s manifesto will be implemented. Praveen Khandelwal is the BJP candidate from this seat.

 

The notification for the sixth phase of poll will be issued on Monday and voting will take place on 25th May. Counting of votes will be held on 4th June.
