Ladakh Police Rescue Foreign Tourists Stranded on Nabtakla Cliff

In Ladakh, in a remarkable display of bravery and dedication, Ladakh Police successfully rescued two foreign tourists who were stranded on the treacherous Nabtakla cliff. The tourists, identified as Sullivan Deirdre from Ireland and Van Der Weijden from the Netherlands, found themselves in distress at an altitude of about 10,300 feet due to the slippery conditions.

 

Upon receiving the distress call, a rescue team led by Inspector Nisar Ali SHO Khalsi Police Station swiftly mobilised into action. Battling through hazardous terrain for over two hours, the team finally reached the stranded tourists, ensuring their safety.

 

The tourists, though shaken, were unharmed, thanks to the relentless efforts of the Ladakh Police. The Ladakh Police’s swift response and professionalism have once again demonstrated their dedication to the safety and well-being of all residents and visitors in the region.
