In Ladakh, In a spirited tribute to the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, the Indian Army organized a Mini Marathon (Run for Fun) for students in Kargil, Ladakh. The event, held from 6 AM to 11 AM, saw enthusiastic participation from more than 316 students aged 15 to 18 years, from both boys’ and girls’ categories.
Starting from Khree Sultan Choo Sports Stadium, the 5-kilometer run followed a route towards Khumbathang road and back.
Brigadier Pratheet Prashar, Commander of the 121 Infantry Brigade, was the Chief Guest, while Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Shrikant Suse, was the Guest of Honour, jointly flagged off the marathon.
