In Ladakh, the Baku & Jimmy Futsal Tournament 2024 concluded at Shargole Indoor Stadium, with RLC Kargil (Baroo) clinching the championship title after a nail-biting 7-6 victory over Skalzangling Leh.
The event, jointly organized by the Kargil Football Association under the aegis of the Ladakh Football Association, supported by the Zonal Physical Education Officer YSS Kargil, saw the participation of six teams, four hailing from Kargil and two from Leh District.
The tournament is held in memory of Tsering Dorjey Baku and Jumme Namgyial, two former football players, renowned for their significant contribution to sports in Ladakh.
