In Ladakh, in a step towards improving livestock farming in Kargil districts, the Animal Husbandry Department conducted a series of training programs focused on fodder cultivation, conservation, and utilization. The sessions took place at three key locations: Drass, Kurbathang, and Sanko, from the 28th to the 30th of this month.

The aim was to equip local farmers with the latest techniques in fodder management to ensure their livestock remain healthy and well-nourished. The training saw enthusiastic participation from farmers across the district, who were eager to learn and implement new farming techniques.
