Information and Broadcasting Minister of State, Dr. L. Murugan, has said that the country is marching towards becoming a developed nation by 2047. Dr Murugan said this while addressing the gathering at the programme being organised in remembrance of social reformers Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Lokshahir Anna Bhau Sathe in New Delhi today. Remembering the contribution made by social reformers to the country’s freedom, Dr Murugan said that the Prime Minister is walking on the path of Anna Bhau Sathe. He is taking forward Mr. Sathe’s efforts to achieve social justice. Dr Murugan also said that the country will be progressive by 2047. He added that his government will make the country number one in the world.
